Hornbeer Blonde is a Belgian inspired beer. Our Blonde is brewed from light barley malt, spices, hops, water and yeast. The complex taste comes from the spices and the Belgian yeast type. The beer is highly carbonated and is bubbly and fresh to look at. The beer is unfiltered and does not have the clearness of a pilsner due to ultra-fine particles of yeast and malt remaining in the beer, which adds to the tasting experience. Blonde is best served chilled between 7-9 degrees and is the ideal compliment to light starter courses, fish, shellfish, chicken or as a welcome drink instead of white wine or champagne.

On tap @ Naboen. Light blurry and golden in color with a lasting really dense, white head. It has some fruity tones on the aroma, I get a little bit of sweetness - really suiting and quite nice. Mild floral tones also, and perhaps even a hint of summer? Nice anyway. The taste is quite different! Yeah, light sweet, floral, candy, bubblegum, some honey sweetness, strawy mild pepper and it's all in all quite an elegant and really nice drinkin' blonde. 02.08.2012

50 cl bottle BB 05-12-2012 @ DeMolen beerstore.

Cloudy blond color; big head. Yeasty dirty water aroma; some malt. Yeasty and sweet malt flavor, with some yeasty fruitiness and light spices. At the end correct bitterness. Pleasant sweet Ale

Another one from hornbeer that didn’t really satisfy me. Yellow to orange colour with large flakes floating in it. Smells malty and yeasty. Taste is too sweet and overrules all other tastes.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Dim, dark golden body with a fine, dense off-white head. Aroma is light fruity, bread, yeast and some spices. Flavor is light malty, a bit sweet, acidic fruit and nice level of bitterness. Isn’t exactly what I think of as a blond, but that doesn’t make it a bad beer. Nice and refreshing.
