(On tap) Almost clear, amber golden with a dense, beige head. Lovely, lightly sweet aroma of caramel. Medium body with clean, sweet accents of caramel and lightly roasted malts. Ends on a dry, lightly bitter finish. Very classical Bock character. Style wise this falls somewhere between a Heller and a Dunkler Bock. But very well crafted. 110108

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a thick dense cream colored head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of diacethyl. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and nuts as well as lighter notes of alcohol, metal, and diacethyl, leading to a dry and slightly bitter and metallic finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours slight hazy and slight brown with a light brown dense head. Aroma is mild caramel but also unmistakenly Apollo butterish. Medium sweet, caramel malt and butterish flavour which softly lingers into the finish. Holds a bit of bitterness in the finish. Not much bock about this one imho.
