Aura is a pale and fresh lager with a pleasant saaz hopping. The fresh flavor is aromatic and balanced. Aura has been brewed to celebrate the 120th birthday of the original Aura beer (brewed in Turku), as well as the 775th birthday of the city of Turku, the oldest city of Finland. The hopping has been considerably reduced compared to the original recipe. 10.3°

On tap at Pub Olarin Ossi, pours a clear piss yellow with a small white head. Aroma is pretty cheap, with corn, straw, not ouch else. Flavour is that of a macro lager, with cheap grassiness, corn, and straw. Nothing beyond marginally drinkable. Meh.

Draft. Golden beer with a cream head. Mineral and light malt aroma. Malt and mineral flavor. Medium bodied. Malt and mineral linger with light herbaceousness.

On tap @ On the Rocks, Helsinki. Pours golden with small head. Clean, malty and crispy. Grain, pure and better than typical bulk lagers.

Tap at Heinäpään Oluttupa, Oulu. Aroma is grainy and malty.. Light bitter. Grainy. Salty. Light. Thin..Flat-average carbonation. Long dry finish. Grainy lager.
