Bottle: Deep golden coloured, small fluffy head that diminishes quickly to a thin foamy layer; alcohol in the sweet-grainy nose; alcohol in the sweetish flavour, medium bodied; brandy-like, burning finish with traces of sweet-malt and with a little bitterness in the aftertaste. the dominant alcohol prevents this pivo from being really good...............

Draught at Restaurant and Pizzeria "Arena" in Prague. Clear golden color, big white creamy head, not very lasting though. Fresh malty scent. Rather big body. Malty flavor, with lots of iron. Bigger than medium bitterness.

Golden color. Some malt aroma. Quite thick mouthfeel, malty, oily; very strong bitterness. Simple but not bad.

The last of the 10 lagers I drank in 2 days, and the last beer I got in the Scout Club Irish Pub. Poured a big and thick white head, that dissipated slowly. Well carbonated. Nice orange colour. A fruity and malty nose. Full taste, malty and fruity, pleasant but not great or special.

Orange-gold beer, clear, quite carbonated; slim white head, fast gone. Rainwater nose, with a bit of malt, and a hint of toilet soap. Roasted malt taste, intense but brief, and then a lot of water, 33 whole centiliters of it. Short, sharp MF, thin body, malty aftertaste, after some time hints at the alcohol. With 6% ABV, or 14% Pt, a luxury beer that many’s the Moravian punter won’t be able to afford. Let them be reassured - they’re not missing anything.

(Bottle 50 cl) Incredibly pretty, fully golden beer with a nice, small head - that collapses though. Nicely full-bodied with some sweetness and a very subdued bitterness. Somehow it does lack the refinement of the best Czechs. But obviously a beer with quality ingredients. Quite potent for a Czech lager.

Bottled. Golden coloured, decent white bubbly head. Bready aroma, but still also a bit sweetness is present. Pretty typical Czech beer to the flavour, but nothing special. Semibitter and sweetish caramel taste. Disappointment for being Czech, but still drinkable.

A golden beer with a fine white head. The aroma is slightly hoppy and slightly sour. The flavor is very hoppy, somewhat malty, and slightly caramalic. I like the bitter hops in this one.
