From a 330ml bottle on 16/3/2013 (bottle labelled Four Brothers Australian Pale Ale, thought described as an Australian interpretation of the the IPA style). Pours a clear light golden with quite a big head. Has a nice floral, fruity aroma with some typical IPA malt and hop character. The flavour is also typical IPA, though it presents as a relatively moderate version of the style. There are sweet is a decent shot of sweet citrus and stone fruits, as well as some caramel malt. The hops are firm without being over the top, with a touch of resin leading to a lingering bitter finish. Not a world beater but solid and enjoyable.
