Bottle, 75cl corked. As Nr 148. It’s an unclear, dark brown beer with a minimal beige head. Slightly sourish nose with roasted malts, orange peel and a pleasant cellar touch. The flavor is mostly roasted, with some cellar notes, a pleasant orange flavor and bitterness. More like the bitterness found in citrus fruit peel than a hoppy bitterness. Full body. The finish is roasted and bitter with notes of oranges. A quite nice, but not my prefered from Bøgedal. 090720

Bottled (from Ölkonsortiet). Very deep brown colour with mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is fruity, nutty, a bit burnt wet wood as well as some coffeeish malts. Flavour is pizza spices, some burnt malts, mild metallic notes as well as some other spices. Yet a rather pleasantly balanced brew.

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, chocolate, cacao, sugar - muscovado, moderate hoppy, orange. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Bottled. A black beer with a red shine under a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with roasted notes, and so is the flavor though added a light note of vegetables.

appears muddy brown with a very nice looking brown head. very nice aroma, hops, sort of like a porter, very strong aroma.aroma reminds me of a mikkeller beer. wow. flavor is a bit strange, basically a weak porter, add something similar to orange juice, and some spices. comes off sort of weird and off-style. overall great aroma, good beer.
