At 6.9% ABV and infused with Simcoe and Citra hops, Tribulation embodies ill fortune and wretchedness. Each sip brings a state of great trouble, yet Tribulation remains juicy and smooth, featuring flavors of soft mandarin pith, purple drink, and grapefruit.

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours hazy gold with a moderate white head. Lots of citrus in the aroma. Mostly grapefruit. Med body. Flavor is grapefruit pith, maybe mandarin orange, and some earthy notes. Malt is barely discernible. Juicy but not at all sweet. Definitely bitter.

Draft. Slightly murky amber beer with a low cream head. Summer fruit and citrus aroma. Summer fruit and yeast flavor with earth and citrus. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Summer fruit and citrus linger with backing malt and earth.
