Brewed in the style of a porter from the end of the 19th century with a recipe using brown malt, invert sugar and Goldings Hops. Firmly bitter and pleasantly roasty. The perfect Winter beer.

From cask at the lovely Dog & Bell, Deptford, London, 21.02.25. Ebony. Diminishing brown head. Excellent aroma and taste of dark chocolate, coffee, rosted malt and appropriate hop bitterness. Well-balanced and very drinkable.
