Bottled. A pale amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has insanely strong notes of alcohol as well as peated smoke. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, peated smoke, and alcohol that burns in the mouth, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Too alcoholic for me. Thanks Mes for sharing.

Bottle 50cl. Bottle #106 of 440.[ Courtesy of Mes ]. Clear dark amber color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dark berry, whisky, raisin, prune, dates, cask wood, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - smooth and creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090124]
