Our Rye Baltic Porter is brewed with Washington-grown rye malts, along with caramel & chocolate malts for rich, roasted flavors. Finishes clean & mellow thanks to a long, cold lagering process. Part of this batch of beer has been aged in oak barrels, then blended back for added character. Hopped entirely with HBC472.

From a pint can. Pours black with a big tan head. Aromas of dark rye bread. Flavors are sweet caramel.

Pint can from the brewery. Very dark brown pour with a thick, creamy tan head. Sweet aroma is malty, dark chocolate, smoke, and faint char. Super smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Light hints of the barrel treatment, sweet and lightly woody, very mild smoke, and dark chocolate. Subtle amount of lager yeast. Very good overall. The 7.6% is not noticeable whatsoever.
