Together with Varietal Brewing, we concocted a slammable Maibock for GOATFEST 2022. Varietal loves their local ingredients, so we decided to use a specific Pilsner malt from Llincmalt. After doing blind malt sensory on five of their Pilsner malts, we chose “DH120058 Pilsner” for its graham crackery, doughy, cinnamony deliciousness that we thought would work well in a Maibock, which is known for being a malt-first style of beer. If you haven't ever been to Goatfest in Sunnyside, WA...have you checked that you have a pulse? Are you even alive? Pshh...doubtful.

Pint can from Varietal. Amber pour with a small beige head. Aroma is lightly sweet and a bit of dough from the pilsner malt. Tastes smooth and sweet, minimal floral bitters. Clean crisp finish.
