Cask at The Malt & Hops. Pours clear reddish brown, thin off-white head. Aromas of caramel and toffee. Taste is more of the same. Sweet finish. OK.

Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of mlat and metal, leading to a dry metallic finish. The body is light.

Cask (gravity) @ Smithfield Hotel, 37 Swan St, Manchester, Greater Manchester England M4 5JZ.Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, caramel notes, butterscotch. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. [20090124]

Cask@The Abbotsford, Edinburgh. Red-copper brown, nice creamy beige head. Grassy, slightly cardboard malty aroma. Grassy hoppy, pale malts in the background. Basic, more on malty side than hoppy.
