Complex mild perhaps not in the traditional sense but we like our beers hoppy! Ruby coloured, coffee, chocolate aroma with hints of dried fruits and sour cherry leads to a soft yet full roast flavour, fruit and malt vying with the rounded hoppy bittersweet finish. Not only for the mild fanatics but the bitter lovers too. Both will be left satisfied and wanting more.

Cask Conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm
Dark amber color. The aroma is a bit sour, I expect to see fruit flies at any time. Caramel flavor, smooth but dry mouthfeel, with a light sourness out of place; correctly bitter. Probably not in good conditions.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Dark reddish brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty, nutty nose with coffee, chocolate and a hint of black-currant. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, dark fruit and a slightly bittersweet finish. Fairly light body, but lots of taste for a mild. Nice one.

[Cask at the Nags Head, Reading] Pours deep red-brown, small frothy cream head. Sweet malt and lots of chocolate to start with, then blackberries and a little earthiness. Some smoke in the finish. Overall this is possibly a little on the sweet side for my liking (and I donโ€™t often say that!). Still, not bad at all, a good depth of flavour and reasonable complexity.
