Thistle Killya Scotch Quad is a hybrid between a Scotch Ale and a Belgian Quad. ABV 11%, aged for a full year in Macallan Scotch barrels, it showcases a sublime maltiness, intertwined with a Belgian yeast character, and finished off with notes of smooth single malt Scotch whisky.

4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Murky dark brown. Aromas of light tart notes, dark fruit, apples. Tastes of whiskey, dark fruit, caramel, booze, apples, light tart notes, oak. Medium body with a dry finish. Decent, a 4 oz pour was plenty enough for me.
