Cask @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty coffee aroma with some hints of chocolate. Roasted malty bitter chocolate and coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty coffee finish wit some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, coffee, moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
