Formerly named Nutty Wolf, we have renamed this beer in honor of our beautiful Nelson County. Nelsonite was deposited over a billion years ago in formations in Nelson and surrounding counties and is now the State Rock of Virginia. This brown ale pours bright amber with notes of chestnut, toffee, and earth on the nose. The medium bodied ale is exceptionally smooth with wonderful nutty and roast flavors, balanced by a rich malt backbone. 5.6% ABV | 18 IBU (Available on Tap only)

Rated at "Nutty Wolf." On tap at the brewery 12/5/15. Very plain and average brown ale. Mild nutty flavor, but boring. Not much else to be found. Meh.
