Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as a good deal of butterscotch. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, butterscotch and a good deal of coffee, leading to a dry finish where the notes of butterscotch and coffee lingers. The body is light. Weird.

Cask @ Smithfield Hotel, Manchester M4. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel aroma with some nutty hints. Roasted malty caramel flavor with some nutty hints. Has a roasted malty caramel finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Aroma is moderate to light light heay malty, roasted, caramel, nutty, wood, smoke notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a average to long duration.
