Bottle split at Chris & Ruth’s pre GBBF Shindig, 07/08/16. Murky mahogany brown with a decent beige head. Nose is light charr, biscuit, caramel, spice. Taste comprises salted caramels, spice, brown bread, light roasted tones, earthy dark fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough porter.

Bottle shared at the pre GBBF chriso’s tasting day 2 07/08/2016. Many thanks! A clear brown copper coloured pour with a a lasting thin light tan head. Aroma is rustic farmyard, nutty toffee, toasted brown bread. Flavour is composed of sweet nutty brown bready, hints of dried fruit. Cakey malts, dried apple. Palate is semi sweet. Moderate carbonation, mineral. Ok.

Sampled @ ChrisO Pre-GBBF Shindig. Opaque murky brownish color, small to average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, light caramel, light chocolate, moderately bitter. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Decent.
