Cask-conditioned at the Wellington, Birmingham 21/1/09. Near black in colour with reddish tones and a decent, lacy tan head. Big aroma of bitter chocolate, dark fruits and roasted malts. Flavour was much the same, with a long dry finish. Very drinkable.
