Our Oatmeal Stout is brewed with 30% Merlot grapes to produce a beer with flavors and aromas of black cherry, berries, plum, chocolate, and some herbs. This beer also has a mild roasted malt aroma with strong notes of chocolate and coffee. The light sweetness of the beer is balanced by a crisp hop bitterness that does not linger on the palate. The Merlot grapes provide a dryer finish and the oats impart a silky smooth mouthfeel that complements the richness of the roasted grains.
