(bottle) Cloudy, orange-golden colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty, banana-fruity and wheat-malty aroma with dusty clovy notes. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a mildly spritzy carbonation. Wheaty and banana-laden taste; dry-ish fruity and wheaty finish with a bearable amount of clovy notes. Drinkable but also mediocre Weizen. 27.X.14

Mild weicher, hefiger Antrunk. Fruchtig, aber nicht zu viel süßliche Banane. Mild weich mit Nelken-Anklängen. Malzig-weicher Körper mit kaum Bitterkeit. Nicht mal schlecht!

0,5 l bottle with the re-designed label art. Murky golden in the glass, a way to orange, small head for a Weizen. Like "Paulaner" on the nose. Starts with dominat caramell notes, low clove and not so fruity herb like the industrial Bavarian counterpart. Could be made a little bit rough and herb. But a better one. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, reife Bananen, leicht würzig.

Yellow/orange color. Aroma is sourly with citrus and clove notes. Taste has although citrus and clove aromas.

[10/5/11] Bottle bought in Germany and drunk in a park in Copenhagen. Aroma of yeast, spices and some banana esters. Sweetish flavor with banana, yeasty spiciness and a drier, slightly acidic, not-so-pleasant finish. Light-bodied.

Draft @ Berlin beer festival 2011. Orangée légère brume, col épais beige. Arôme d’ester fruité, banane, abricot et raisin blanc avec touche de carton. Bière au palais qui reste herbacée, touche ester, levure pour faible effervescence et une fine amertume. Épaisse en bouche avec une touche de grains.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a nice white head. The aroma has strong notes of wheat as well as lighter notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wheat, and fruit. The body is light.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy yellow with a tall and lively white head. Distinct yeast in the nose. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel with lots of banana and yeast and a whiff of sulphur. Finishes dry. 140509
