Closer Apart is an unfiltered “zwickle” Pilsner, so named after the valve brewers use to take samples directly from the tank, and it’s lovely. We taste bright, floral noble hops on a delicate malt body reminiscent of shortbread. Unfussy and eminently sessionable at 4.7%, this lager is a testament to the great things brewing up here in Lake County, Illinois. Prost!

16oz can. A touch of earthy, grainy malts. Really clean and infinitely drinkable. All around enjoyable.
