Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Beautiful red mahogany color. There’s a liquor in the Alps called "nocino" (based on green walnuts), the aroma and the flavor remind me a bit of that one, but without the intensity; there seem to be a lot of raspberry, providing some woody character, tannins, and final astringency.
Compared to the other Cascade beers I tried tonight, this one starts having some complexity, but still no depth.

Draft. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, fruits, brett, and prunes. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, prunes, raspberries, alcohol, and a bit of chocolate, leading to a dry finish. A bit OTT for me.

Amber hazy color. Very tart tons of soft fruit notes of strawberries and apricots with some oak in the background. Very tart, tons of fruit in the mouth with tons of strawberries and apricots. Very sour. Tons of oak and vanilla with fruit lingering finish. Very sour, well made, but predictable brew. I was kinda hoping for something a bit strange and different, but didn’t blow me away.
