Appearance: Clear chestnut brown with a tall ivory-coloured frothy head of decent retention. Aroma: wet clothes, hydrogen sulphide, dark malt, burnt bread, some grassy hop. Taste: Light to medium sweet. Dark malt, burnt bread, grass. Low ending bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium body, average carbonation. Overall: Better tasting than smelling. Still below average.
