Cask at Victoria station ’Wetherspoons’, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige fluffy head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, chocolate, hint of coffee. A lovely smooth drinking porter from Dark Star.

Cask (gravity)@St. Urho’s Pub
Dark nut brown color, small beige head. Coffeish, ashy nose. Medium-bodied. Sticky front. Harsh, coffeish, some tar and tobacco ash. Lingering roasty maltyness in the finish. Ok real porter, but I prefer cask porters, which are soft.

Cask @Kitty´s, Helsinki. Poured dark brown with a thin white head. Lovely instant coffee and chocolate aroma. Flavor is intense, coffee and cocoa, slight burntness. Just the way I like it. Very very drinkable.

Cask@Kittys, Helsinki. Deep ambery brown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is bready, a bit grassy, ashy and quite roasted. Flavour is quite similar, maybe a bit off, but still pleasant.

Cask at the Rake. Pours an almost clear, amber-brown with a foamy, white head. A mild dark malt aroma with some ripe fruits, roasted cocoa beans and bark. Flavor holds modest sweetness, with some caramel malts, lightly toasted bread, and mild bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Faintly roasty in the finish, with some more caramel, light cocoa and fruit. Exceedingly drinkable. Wonderful beer.

(Cask at Angleterre, Helsinki) Aroma was good with its roastedness and chocolate. Flavour was too burnt for my taste. Balance was good. Not a bad brew but less burntness and I would have given this one better score.
