Bavarian-grown and malted pilsner malt from Kulmbach, a small town 2 hours north of Munich, provides a delicate canvas that allows Rakau hops from Pikimai Farms, Tapawera, New Zealand to express their piney and fruity characteristics. Expect balanced notes of honey, stone fruit, and pine. It is hoppy enough to satisfy an IPA enthusiast and balanced enough not to scare away the more hop-averse crowd.
