Hops that deliver sweet fruit notes were targeted for this new Hazy IPA, befitting of its name. Flaked oats and malted wheat emphasize those soft, round notes, and a single, large dryhop was used along with a kettle addition of Amarillo, Calypso, and Idaho Gem hops, the latter two making their debut in an Olde Salem beer. The result is a beer that gives a satisfying hop flavor without overwhelming the palate.
