In the lambicworld you have mixed beer with winegrapes for centuries but what has never been done is to use grapes that have been infested with Nobel Rot. (Botrytis Cinerea)

Fully hazy yellow straw with little whitish rim. Fries, burnt esters, Brettanomyces, grapes, dry and perfumed soap, vanilla. Fresh, titillating & absolutely mindblowing fine fruit taste, grapes, wild berries, brambles; dry finish with lemon and lemonpeel. Light but slick MFwith a refreshing, reviving throatfeel. The alcohol is absolutely hidden under all the fine, but powerful flavours. Something to wake up the dead - nobody wants to be dead anyway when he/she could drink this.

Hazy orange in colour. White head that disappears quickly. Aroma is tart and a little sweet from grapes. Some hints of grapefruit in the aroma aswell. Tart flavor with hints of grapefruit and rhubarb. Has a vinous and a warming aftertaste. Very nice!

Bottled. Hazy orange colour with mediumsized white head. Droves in aroma, along with the Cantillonish sourness. Bittersweet grapes with kind of wineflavours. Very smooth flavour and excellent Lambic. This was just love at first taste .)

Bottle - sampled at the RBESP 2005
Aroma has leather, vinegar and fish sauce strangely enough - in a pleasant way though. Cloudy yellow. Leather and barn in the flavor of course together witha bit white grape dryness. Light body. Complexly good.

An unclear orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is quite complex with notes of wood, grapefruit, grapes, as well as hints of alcohol. The flavor is acidic without being overwhelming with notes of wood, grapefruit, wine grapes - giving it notes of white wine, and only hints of the alcohol, which gives it a stronger body than other Cantillon. The end is dry woody and acidic. Impressive how well the alcohol is hidden.

(Bottle 75 cl) Unclear, pale golden - no head. Usual sharp Cantillon nose. Flavours are even more sophisticated and refined than we’re used to from Cantillon. Fruity, almost honeyish notes - I believe I can taste the noble grapes. Truly an experience. 120805

Golden color, not much head. Intensive horse blanket aroma. Sour, earthy, berries, very acidy and balanced. Delicious, art of gueuze in its extreme.

(75 cl bottle) Lively, sparkling pale orange. Thin head. Complex aroma, barnayard. The cork smelled like cocoa. Citric and chalk-dry. Salty and complex. The alcohol is nowhere to be found in the flavour, but mark my words, it is there and it kicks like a mule!

Bottled. Lively cloudy orange. Citric and aggresivel carbonated. Lightly woody, feels young and refreshing. grape/wine character takes the back seat to the acidity. Dry and intensive, actually very, very different in many ways to the unblended Goldackerl Lambic. It should definitely improve even more with time.
