Dark Brown, Dirty And Murky. The Looks do not match the pic on brewers website, so it has to be waaay past its expiration date, although there is no date stamp on the bottle. Before checking their website the only explanation that i could come up - this is their brewing style... Tried their Red Seal Ale, had similar issue, therefore might be a good idea to start labeling dates:best before or born on. Strong wheat sourness, yeast and taste that is similar to Whiskey Cask aged beers that have whiskey or alcohol aftertaste. Not pleasant as it was, but might try it again if I could figure out how to find a fresh bottle.

Aroma has zesty citrus and a hint of hop. Sharp, citrus and fresh. Good that it’s not got any sweetness.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a small frothy white head. The aroma is bready malt and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet fruity malt and caramel. Easy to drink a good wheat ale from North Coast.
