12 oz bottle-pours a foamy offwhite head. Color is cloudy orange with particles throughout. Aroma is wheat, citrus. Taste is wheat, spices. Has a granular mouthfeel, medium bodied and mild effervescence.

I thought I was drinking light pale ale. There is only a little wheat flavor, with less unimpressive light hops. Somewhat refreshing. Heavily carbonated. Somewhat sweet, and a little thick.

Hazy golden/orange colour. White head with big bubbles. Has a spicy aroma with a light hoppy feeling in the background. The taste is malty with a light hoppy feeling. Crisp and a little dry mouthfeel. A pretty good wheat beer.

Large white head on a dark yellow body. Aroma of ginger and lemon. Lightly swet start to finish. The lively carbonation is conbined with a watery light body. Give me a German Wheat beer any day.

Slightly hazy golden colour with a large dense cream coloured head with tons of small bubbles rising from the bottom. Nice appearance! Aroma of fresh low a.a. hops (not much, but enough to notice), wheat, cardboard and some lemons. Without looking, I would assume this is an APA, not a wheat. Light-bodied; Mild citrus flavour with a small amount of hops peddling by. Some malt is noticeable, but the [common] wheatie flavours are lacking. No coriander seed to speak of, no bubble gum and no cloves, but this one does share a nice freshness via hops. Aftertaste is clean and light, hops are noticeable but so is the lemon. Overall, a very nice beer, perfect for the summer...I was not expecting this one at all, but I was pleasantly surprised! A great beer by North Coast! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased at Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 26-September-2004.

North coast has come up with a couple of beers that I have liked in the past so I jumped at the chance to try this one. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this brew poured a very cloudy medium orange-golden color with a small white head. A very nice looking wheat - particularly with the large amount of sediment. I like my wheats cloudy. The aroma was sweet, spicy and had a hint of orange. The flavor was predominantly malt and spice with some vague citrus flavor that seemed almost an afterthought. Not much wheat could be tasted on this one but the hop presence was noticeably stronger that what I have become used to in American Wheats. Sadly, I doubt that I would bother to purchase this one again, although it was not bad by any means.

Crisp, citrus flavored, refreshing, mildly spicy, slight sweetness, well-balanced, smooth and quenching finish - not as good as Oberon, but pretty close.

Picked up at Hollingshead Deli in Orange, CA. Dark yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is mildly hoppy. Very light and crisp flavor of hops and fruit. Finish is a little hoppy, a little yeasty. Not bad for the style but give me an Old Rasputin over this any day.

For an American Wheat, this is quite complex and flavourful.................
