Extreme dark and deep beginning. Caramel, cookies, chocolate, espresso. Lots of depth. The texture is very smooth, velvet, dark caramel, moderate roast. Long roast-smooth malty and not too sweetish chocolate-espresso viscous aftertaste. Fascinating with not too much bitterness and a moderate nice smooth sweetness. Great!

Bottle: Deep ruby-amber coloured, presumably clear, big and really stable tanned head; toasty-caramelly nose with a slight acidity, dried fruits and vanilla detectable; moderate to solid bitter and slightly sweet flavour, soft and medium bodied, a faint acidity is detectable in the background; becomes drier and more bitter in the chocolatey-toasty and slightly sourish finish. Good…

660ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with ruby red glimmer and average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty dark malty aroma with floral hoppy overtones, hints of viola, aniseed, Mäusespeck. Taste sweet dark malty, a floral touch, viola, hints of aniseed, liquorice, Mäusespeck; light, monotonous, restricted and slightly watery. Sweet & floral - quite strange overall.

Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours clear very dark ruby / brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of caramel malt, with notes of fruit and touches of hops. Sweetish, malty and caramellish flavour, with fruity hints and touches of hops and citrus. Bittersweet aftertaste. Okay but nothing really great.
