Virtually black with a frothy, beige head. Aroma is full of prunes, somewhat stale sherry and dark chocolate. Taste has a moderate roasted bitterness with sweeter chocolate undertones. Lingering prune at the end. Medium to full body, oily, with mild carbonation. Not bad.

0,66 l bottle from the fridays shop at the brewery. 4,85 €. Pours out pitch black, little bit oily, dark beige one finger head. Smells strong, coffee and berriefruit, also some wine barrel. Taste has two stages, a short fruity one and a second one with a lot of choco and caramell. Nearly no carbonation. Very smooth palate, hidden alcohol, but warming after a while. Strong one!

Bottle. Really good classim imperial stout. Assertive roastiness is backed by chocolatey toffeeish malty backbone. Slightly sweetish even though the roast provides enough bitterness to form a balanced drinkable beer. Good one, not very complex, but good.
