Albert Heijn introduceert haar nieuwe bier: Brouwers, de smaak van nu. Wat maakt Brouwers bier nu zo speciaal? De uitgesproken en frisse smaak. Waar die smaak vandaan kom? Onze brouwers doen aan ‘dryhopping’, een extra stap in het brouwproces dat ons bier een sterker hoparoma geeft. En we kiezen bewust voor zowel een pilsmout als een donkere soort mout. Daarmee creëren we niet alleen een robuustere smaak, het geeft de pils ook een diepe, koperen kleur. Brouwers hoort bij een nieuwe generatie pils, vol smaak, maar toch doordrinkbaar en fris. Naast de smaak heeft Brouwers nog iets anders speciaals. We introduceren het in het donker, in een lichtdichte doos. Waarom? Het zorgt voor het behoud van de smaak. Gelukkig is het in de koelkast ook donker!

Lichtbruin bier zonder schuim. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig en ietwat moutig met sporen van karamel. Niet echt een pils smaak maar desondanks goed te drinken. Ik kan echter niet zeggen dat dit een bier voor een hoofdprijs is, er zijn wat mij betreft vele betere pils bieren.

Can in a Ultrech hotel room. A crystal clear yellow coloured pour with a fading frothy white head. Aroma is semi sweet pale malts, apple, green berries, corn. Flavour is composed of harsh metallic, rusty penny, sweet corn, apple. Palate is thin, chalky, spritzy carbonation. Bad.

Flesje gekocht bij AH. goudgeel tot oranje-achtig bier met matig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma mottig en hoppig. Smaak is bitter en moutig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Can (random shop in Ams). Pours golden. Aroma is cardboard, grains, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, quite hoppy (read hop extracty), cardboard, malt, booze. Overall: bad.

Pours clear golden, a bit darker, medium white head. Smelly grainy nose, lots of wet cardboard and syrup. Sweet malty with a hint of bitterness. Light. It is what it is.

Bottle at home, golden beer, small head. Aroma is malt, grain, some hops. Taste is the same, sweet, and bitter. not bad for such a cheap pilsener, quite good. didnt expect it honestly.

[ As Albert Heijn Brouwers Premium Pilsener ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, cereal, pale malt, light moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, cabbage water, cereal, sweet malt, grass.
