Pours amber with a massive head.Nose shows stonefruit in abundance, big nectarine and peach notes! Also kumquat marmalade. Pretty nice, quite unusual. Underneath is some faint caramel.Very similar flavours in the way of fruity hops, however the malt becomes more expressive too with soft bready characters accompanying the heavy-handed crystal malt. The finish is a bit unpleasant, with a harsh, metallic bitterness I’ve often found in beers using new-world hops for bittering - I wouldn’t be surprised if Galaxy was used for this purpose, not just for aroma/flavour.Body seems a bit syrupy.Overly sweet (think orange and nectarine cordial) but pretty decent.

From a 330ml bottle on 11/8/2011. Pours golden with a medium head. Has a gentle but pleasant floral, fruity aroma (apricots) with some bready malt notes. It starts out with a sweet fruitiness, some honey, and a touch of yeastiness, which is quickly overtaken by a sharp citric bitterness. It finishes with a more muted sweetness. This is an usual brew, from the curious marketing/packaging, through to its quite distinct flavour and character. Good stuff.
