A contemporary tasting American styled IPA with bold new world hop flavours driven by Mosaic hop from the US and complemented by New Zealand’s Rakau. The result is a nose of passionfruit, mango and grapefruit for those looking for taste balance strongly toward citrus hops. Sweet and bitter with lots of tropical fruit and rounded bitterness. Half-pint, shared with Finn. A clear amber body, poor lacing, a few patches on the surface. Herbal hops with citric moments on the nose, promising. Hop fruity flavours, grass, citrus, and a touch of apricot added by grainy malts. Mid-dry fruity bitter finish. Fine bodied. Pleasing (London, 11.02.2025).

On tap at the Nag's Head, Covent Garden 30/12/2022. Deep amber, with a tight, white, head. Grapefruit, some tangerine sweetness with a touch of accompanying caramel, hint of pine, crisp malts, leading to a dryish finish. A good effort by McMullens.
