(50 cl bottle from Systembolaget) Clear dark red color, tan to beige head. Grainy acidic malty scent. A slight tone of dry coffee smell as well. Small almost thin roasted malty taste, roasted aftertaste going over into chocolate. Thin mouthfeel, low bitterness.

(Bottle 33 cl) Not only brown, this is very close to black and almost opaque. The head is light brown and creamy - almost Guinness like. This doesn’t come close to your typical malty sweet Swedish Christmas beer. This is dry with a some slightly burned aromas and a marked bitterness that seems to last forever. Unusual - and almost closer to a Dry Stout. 120302

Sampled at the RBESP 2004, re-rate from bottle
Sourdough, nutty and roasted aromanotes. Dark chestnut, creamy low tanned head. Smoky and wooden, oaky tart edges. Lightish body, sparkly mouthfeel. Didn’t strike me as very interesting compared to the other excellent swedish micro-christmasbeers.

Dark amber beer, Sweedish Christmas beer. Malt and roasted malt aroma. Good roasted malt taste, like a stout, with some metallic taste. Long bitter-roasted final.
