From a 500ml bottle on 23/4/2018 (bottled 15/2/2018, batch number 8992). Pours a clear deep golden with a medium head which disappears almost instantly. Has a strong raspberry donut jam nose. The flavour is all raspberry jam which is met by countering bitterness which takes the edge of the sweetness really nicely. This could so easily be a cloying soft drink-like mess, but it's actually a bit of an achievement - a true dessert beer that's not a dark beer.
