Oat Cream Hazy DIPA
In collaboration with Hopheads.
Deeds Brewing and Hopheads were both born out of a passion for beer. We started with a dream and have grown from there. Hopheads bars and stores are in Melbourne's West and after 5 years they're switching up their style. What better way to celebrate than making a beer together? Enjoy this citrus fruitball with vanilla and lactose and don't forget: embrace the change.

From a 440ml can on 19/7/2020. Pours a hazy lightish golden with a medium foamy head. The nose is pleasant and lightly fruity, though not particularly intense. Tastes of lots of sweet tropical and stone fruit (pineapple, mango, peach) and a big dollop of vanilla with a reasonably spicy hop finish to balance the sweetness out. There's just a hint of hop burn, but not enough to detract from the experience. The mouthfeel is lovely - slick, thick and super creamy, with the lactose and oats prominent, with the carbonation moderate. A truly excellent creamy big hazy.
