Pours black with a quickly fading head.Nose show cocoa, roasted malt, bready malt and chocolate syrup.Flavours include more chocolate syrup and accompanying lactose sweetness creating a slightly artificial note, along with bready, toasty and roasted malt.

From a 375ml can on 4/8/2020. Pours a deep brown with a small head. Has a distinct milk chocolate fudgey nose. In the mouth, it's very sweet - again milk chocolate, fudge and cocoa, with a gentle, slightly sharp bitterness finishing proceedings. The mouthfeel is a touch creamy and the carbonation moderate. A more than decent sweet stout.

A very smooth, easy-drinking chocolate stout. strong notes of belgian chocolate and milk combine with a little coffee for a lovely aroma. It's not thick on the palate, and yet the texture is quite fudgey. My only criticism is that the bitter hops at the back of the palate leave a discordant note in the aftertaste.
