The Grande Rivière is an amber beer made with roasted barley malt. Its notes of caramel and pain d’épices give it a pleasant feeling of roundness and freshness.

(Bottle 75 cl) Amber golden with floating impurities and a small, white head. Smells somewhat moldy. Medium-bodied with vague caramelish notes. Discreet hoppy finish. 300406

A deep amber beer with slight sediment floating around under a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of strawberries, but also a slight dusty note. The flavor is sweet malty combined with light notes of berries, leading to a end with notes of straw.

Clean amber colour, poor head. Malt aroma, oxidized, persistent; light wallnut. Pleasant but not terrific flavour, a lot of malt, some sweetness, roasted malt, caramel, a hint of liquorice. Strong final, pretty long.
