A hazy orange beer with a huge fluffy off-white head - due to very high carbonation. The aroma is sweet with a strong hop presence giving it both floral and dusty notes. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of hops, but grapefruit, flowers, and dusty notes, leading to a sharp citrusy bitter end. Very refreshing.

Bottled, #141, v2. Golden beer with a white head leaving nice lacings. Aroma of american hops, some malt and peppery notes, and pine. Very hoppy and piney flavor with some juniper-like notes. Full bodied and with a very bitter finish. Said to be 128 IBUs, but it could use more balance, in my opinion, and I’m fond of hops. (060530)

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, almost clear amber colour with a handsome, creamy, white head leaving a curtain of laces. Fat, oily hop aroma with a citric touch. Medium body with light notes of caramel, but otherwise completely dominated by aroma hops leaving wonderful fruity accents - peach, pineapple and grapefruit. For a malthead like me this is way too hoppy with its 128 IBU, but I must admit that it’s an exceptionally well crafted American style IPA. Impressive indeed. 220606

Bottled. Dark golden colour with a white whead. Fruity hoppy aroma. Fruity and hoppy flavour. Very bitter finish.

Draught. Nice, fresh, flowery, piney hop aroma. Cloudy copper colour. Small, but stable, white head. Very bitter, but nicely so. The flavour has a hint of yeast and some peach. Aftertaste gets a bit much with the bitterness and pine.

Batch 060206-01: Cloudy golden with a medium head. Fruity aroma with peach and grapefruit. Refreshing intense hop dominated flavour, not too much for my taste. Excellent aftertaste.
2008 re-rate: Somewhat soapy citrus hop aroma. Very bitter, but also rather sweet.
