A blend of Belgian Golden Strong and American strong blonde beers were aged in both regular gin and sloe gin barrels from @spiritworksdistilling for a year. Then, deriving inspiration from the French 75 cocktail, we co-fermented this beer with 40% Pinot Grigio juice and champagne yeast, with just a touch of lemon. The resulting 11% beverage, while technically still a beer, drinks more like a natural champagne, maybe a cider, perhaps a ginny mead, or even a botanical spritz.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Grape and herbal aroma with spice. Spice and grape flavor with herbal notes and light summer fruit. Medium bodied. Spice and grape linger with herbal notes, light yeast, and light summer fruit.
