50cl from Rewe in Mainz. Nice slightly cloudy amber beer with a nice white head. The nose is a bit grainy, The beer starts sharp, a bit metallic. The mainpart is fullbodied, slightliy smooth due to the yeast. Still a bit metallic and sharp. Grainy. The aftertaste is long, grainy, smooth but unround somehow.

Bottled, thanks Bierkrug! Hazy pale yellow, rich firm head. Distinct grassy nose. Mid dry with bready malt forming a slim body. Remains crisp despite an underlying malt sweetness. Long spicy grassy bitterness. Thirst quenching and moreish.,.

Bottle. Hay and barley malt aroma. Slightly hazy golden yellow color with moderate head. Moderately sweet creamy barley malt and grassy hops flavor. A very nice beer - one of the best from Kirner.

Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, straw, bread, light to moderate hoppy, hazelnuts shell notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081014]

(bottle) Slightly hazy pale golden colour with a short but stable white foam. Yeasty and slightly honeyish malty aroma with citrus and shy hints of hops. Light bitter flavour, light to medium body, smooth carbonation. Dry malty taste with notes of honey; dry and yeasty finish with a rather sharp and unpleasant bitterness.

Nein Danke! Test vom 14.6.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,4,8,4,9,4 - 5,45

Bottle: Yellow, cloudy, thin lasting firm head; yeasty, sourish nose (citrus) with a tinge of maltiness; sweetish, yeasty beginning, quite smooth, creamy texture, sweetish, malty "middle", tart, slightly bitter finish; could be mixed up with a Weizen; not really satisfying......

Lageryeast and bitterhop in the nose. Pale, unfiltered cloudy, smallish head. Malty honey, yeast and a bit of hops on the palate. smooth mouthfeel, bready aftertaste. Nice enough.
