Cask at jdw tower bridge. Hazed golden pour with a lasting loose white head. Suptle nitty malt and English yeast eaters in the aroma. Flavour is standard English summer ale, bisvuity malt grassy hop with a solid bitterness. Medium light body. Decent.

Cask at the Queens Head. The nose is dough, grain, toasted grass and honeysuckle. The taste is crisp, doughy, toasty, grass, floral, white grape skin, citrus peel and decent bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A very drinkable, clean golden ale.

Cask-conditioned at the Willow Walk (JDW), Victoria 14/7/2013. Deep gold with a slight, off-white head. Cereal mlats, a touch of grassy hops and moderately bitter finish. So-so.

Cask @ Moon under Water, Hounslow
Aroma is quite light with some fruity hops. Flavour is rather hoppy with fruits, apricot, some resin and gooseberry bush. Hoppy and nice!

Served via cask dispense into a UK pint glass at the Fox, Twickenham, (Feb ’12) Pours a clear golden colour with a small white frothy head. The aroma is of mild hops with a touch of citrus and pine in the background. On the palate, a bitter tasting beer with citrus fruit coming across, a little orange, lemon and perhaps grapefruit and also a grassy flavour - all fairly muted and not in your face. Mouthfeel was a little watery for my liking but finished with a good bitter dry taste. An OK beer, would re-visit no qualms, but there are better beers out there! --- Beer aliased from original tick of Kew Steam Ale on 23 Dec 2015 at 11:09 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 5.5. Cask, handpump The Watermans, Richmond, Surrey 23.07.11 Citrussy with a crisp bitterness, easily the best of the beers that I’ve had on The Thames Tipple today in one of the nicest pubs. Golden in colour with great clarity and a small white bubbly head, nice hoppiness on nose, just an all round great beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
