In the before time, two forbidden lovers suffered a terrible fate. Where they fell, an orchid was born. Hidden behind its delicate petals lies a pod containing an essence and flavour that has been coveted and cultivated since. We decided to celebrate this dark history with our friends at Fox Friday. A full-bodied, imperial stout, Morning Star dials back the roast and lets the sweet vanilla shine. Sit back and enjoy this true “nectar of the gods!".

From a 440ml can on 2/5/2023. Pours a deep deep brown with very little head. Has a light chocolate cocoa nose. Tastes of milk and dark chocolate with lots of vanilla. Finishes with a light roasty bitterness. Has a slightly syrupy mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. A very well made big pastry stout.
