(Bottle at Akkurat on 2009-12-19) Poured amber with floating bits. There wasn’t really any head. Aroma was sweet with clear honey and some coriander notes. Palate was medium bodied and dry with low carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, raisin, fruitiness, hops, coriander and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. I suppose the beer has been quite a lot different as fresh one. Now it resembled a tripel.

Bottle 355ml.Clear with small size particles, a medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy, orange shell, moderate yeasty, honey, coriander. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [260908]

12 fl oz bottle, courtesy of KimJohansen. Pours hazy orange with a diminished white head. Spiced yeasty and slight oxidised aroma. Light caramel malty to a mild yeasty backbone and somewhat oxidised too - although this may not be oxidisation I’m picking - but it seems like it. Ends is a sticky sweet and yeasty and caramel malty finish.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of KimJohansen. A hazy orange beer with a rough, off-white head. Fat aroma of fruit, vitamin-C, yeast and a little honey. Quite full-bodied with plenty of fruit, yeast and alcohol. Distinct alcohol in the finish. 201008

Bottled@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is fruits, alcohol, nectar and some wood. Flavour is hops, fruits and some mild notes of nectar and wood. Also some slight alcoholic sweetness. As it warms up the wheat gets stronger. Rather wellbalanced imperial wit, or wheatwine.

GABF 2007. An unclear yellow beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet and acidic with light notes of brettanomyces and farmhouse. The flavor is sweet, but also with a slight acidic edge and a light alcohol burn. The mouthfeel is smoothe and milk like.

Unclear orange colour. Low but firm head. Yeasty aroma with notes of orange marmalade and anise-seed. More orange marmalade shows in the flavour, there’s some notes of honey as well. Alcohol is well hidden.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Pale amber/copper colour with brief, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with orange peel, honey and coriander. Fruity taste with notes of candy sugar, caramel, orange, mandarin and spicy hints of coriander in a sweet and fiery finish. Medium body, slightly too sweet. A decent brew, but far from their best offerings.

Initially yeasty aroma, and there was a pretty solid dollop of yeast in the bottle though most of it remained there. Light breadiness plus a hint of phenols, and the coriander spiciness hiding in there too. Big sugary flavor, grainy and wheaty with a spicy and yeasty background. Finish is fizzy, sweet, lightly herbal, lightly citric, with a warming alcoholic presence. A bit heavy and cloying. Certainly weird combining these big flavors with witbier elements, and I can’t say I’m overly crazy about it. Hazy copper color with smallish head.
