Sky Way is our expression of NZ Rakau hops at their finest. A choice cone from across the ditch with massive versatility we’ve recently fallen head over heels for. Also, google says its “stone fruit, apricot, pine driven cultivar”. Oh chur. We’ve gathered NZ’s finest Rakau from both the Eggers and Freestyle hops farms, along with a dose of Rakau Hopkief and a touch of Nelson Lakes’ Nelson Sauvin.

440ml can from Farmers Bar, Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a thin, broken, white head. The aroma is grainy, light apricot. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a smooth, fresh, herbal, stone fruits, dry, mineral, light piney, light hop bitter palate, medium to light bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Frpm a 440ml can on 19/11/2024. Pours a hazy golden with a medium head. Has a bright and punchy tropical aroma. On the sip, there's melon, white grape, passionfruit and some peach. Finishes with a pleasant moderate tangy bitterness that balances the beer out very nicely. Pillowy mouthfeel with average carbonation. Lovely.
