From a 330ml bottle on 23/11/2024. Pours a deep, murky brown with pretty much no head. Has a malty nose, with lots of brown sugar and dark fruit. On the sip, it features more brown sugar, toffee, dates prunes and light vinous and whisky notes. Quite sweet but with a nice countering sharp, tangy bitterness. Full bodied with a slick palate and moderate carbonation. A lovely complex, big fireside sipper.
