Mosaic Promise showcases two unique ingredients: Mosaic hops and Golden Promise malt. The versatility of the hop’s pleasing aroma and flavor characteristics and the traditional barley’s depth of flavor comprise this clean, rich, golden beer. We can brew complex beers with the best of them, but we recognize that there is also beauty in simplicity.

Bottled. Poured golden color with a thick white head. Citrusy aroma, grapefruit with some pineapple accents. Flavor has grapefruit, grapefruit, lime notes. Crisp, refreshing. Bit light on the whole, but quite nice, Mosaic can stand on its own I think.

355ml Bottle - Golden with a small head. Cat piss, blueberries, grapefruit and some floral notes in the aroma. Hoppy taste with grapefruit, blueberries, peach, passion fruit and lychees. Tasty and nicely balanced. I like it when the Americans avoid using crystal malt for beers like this as it can often detract from the qualities of the hops.

(355ml bottle from Systembolaget, BB 02/04/17) Pours clear dark gold with a small tight white head that fades slowly with lace. Aroma is very fruity and tropical, passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit, pine, a little skunky weed, malt core is rather light but a bit sweet and bready. Flavour is dry and crisp on the whole, lemon and grapefruit rind, citrus pith, pine needles, green onion, biscuit malt, touch of simple sugar sweetness in the middle. Finish is very dry, quite bitter for style and slightly astringent, dominated by citrus pith that lingers, slightly mineral in the aftertaste. Light to medium body, slightly oily, above average carbonation. Nose holds promise, but it’s a bit too high on bitterness, low on flavour and body to match it.

From a 355ml bottle on 16/8/2016. Pours a clearish light golden with a small head. The aroma is very floral and fruity, with lots of tropical notes. Flavour wise, there’s a decent malt background featuring biscuit and bread, followed by sweet and tart citrus. The bitterness is pronounced, dry, sharp and zesty, featuring lots of citrus notes.Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Very solid.

A blonde ipa with a thin white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with herbaceous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light citrus, resinous and piney, very nice. On tap at Plattsburgh Brewfest 2016.

Tap at Boiler Room Logan Square Clear light golden with quite small white head. Oh yeah, lots of mosaic hops with dank weeds, light lime and a touch of onion. Some lemon and lime later on followed by dank marijuana. Light caramel with fresh baked bread. Medium sweet and bitter. Just medium bodied. Pretty good.
