Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a tall beige frothy head of perfect retention. Aroma: Dark malts, berry esters, treacle, some chocolate and hop. Taste: Medium sweet, light to medium bitter. Powerful malts, roast and toast, treacle, prune, dark chocolate, good hop. Hoppy aftertaste. Mouth feel: Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation. Overall: Solid.
